Out of town patients

STEP ONE

Schedule a telehealth (virtual) consultation with Dr Georgescu.

STEP TWO

During your 20 min virtual consultation, Dr. Georgescu will perform a cosmetic evaluation, will discuss with you your goals and expectations, and will formulate a treatment plan. He will also review your medical history and will determine if you are a good candidate for the planned procedures.

STEP THREE

Our Surgical Coordinator will contact you (usually the next day) to discuss your surgical options, potential dates for the procedure and financial responsibilities. She will also email you the quote for the approximate surgical cost and will discuss financing options.

STEP FOUR

Select the surgery date. Once a surgery date has been determined, a non-refundable deposit is required to reserve the date. Payment in full is due two weeks prior to surgery. We also advise that you fly in at least one day prior to the day of surgery to meet with Dr. Georgescu, complete all paperwork, and have the pre-op photographs taken.

STEP FIVE

Please be advised that we strongly encourage surgical patients to have a companion at discharge, as many patients need help the day of surgery. If a companion is not available, we can arrange for your overnight stay in the hospital where surgery is performed. Following surgery, we will want you to recover here in Fort Lauderdale area for approximately seven to 10 days prior to traveling home, depending on the type and extent of the surgery performed.

Post Op & Travel Arrangements

Our office staff will work with you to schedule your post-op visits. If you prefer a companion service to help you recover, we can provide this as well at an additional cost. Hotel arrangements and transportation: If you are traveling from outside of South Florida, and need help finding suitable local accommodations, transportation or post-op nursing care, we can assist you. Please call our office, as we are more than happy to help you find something that suits your needs.
